After three years at university pursuing a degree in Political Science and International Relations, I never imagined finding myself in a field as seemingly unrelated as digital communication, specifically in content creation. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on perspective), in an ever-evolving job market filled with unforeseen challenges, young graduates often struggle to land a job in a field they are passionate about.
Lack of experience, fierce competition—the list of obstacles is long. It was within this context of "professional homelessness"—as I like to call it—that my journey with CKLE began. What was supposed to be a temporary experience turned out to be transformative: not only did it change my personal perception of the communication industry, but it also redefined my professional goals within the span of a year.
Discovering CKLE and the Beginning of a Creative Journey
My introduction to the world of creativity happened gradually, starting with a three-month internship where my primary task was to share already-produced content. What seemed like a straightforward task at first quickly turned into a fascinating discovery. I began using tools I was already familiar with but within a professional setting, which completely changed my perspective. Before this experience, I had a very naive—and somewhat biased—view of communication. I didn’t realize how diverse the required skills were or the challenges the field entailed.

Little by little, a whole new vocabulary entered my daily life: SEO, engagement, Wix, backend, frontend. I came to understand that creating and publishing content without a strategy wasn’t enough. Everything was planned months in advance. Every action served specific goals, whether it was reaching a particular audience or sparking a specific reaction. Managing unforeseen challenges—like the day the internet went down, and we had to reorganize everything—while maintaining one constant: creativity.
What impressed me the most was the team’s near-daily obsession with one key question: how can we continuously reinvent ourselves? I witnessed how central idea renewal was—whether in storytelling, capturing attention, or innovating formats. This demanding yet incredibly stimulating process opened my eyes to a world far more complex and exciting than I could have imagined.
The Impact of This Year on My Skills and Career Goals
The impact of this year on my skills and career goals has been deeper than I could have ever anticipated. When I started my internship, everything was new to me—from using Microsoft Office tools like Outlook and Planner to discovering collaborative platforms such as SharePoint and Teams.
These tools not only improved my organization but also helped me understand the importance of project management and seamless collaboration within a team. I also learned to create and publish content more professionally using Wix while mastering SEO techniques to enhance visibility. Writing and scheduling newsletters opened my eyes to the significance of targeted communication and engagement.
Beyond the technical skills, this year transformed my professional aspirations. I once dreamed of becoming a diplomat, but working at CKLE unveiled a newfound passion for digital communication that I hadn’t anticipated. I came to appreciate the creativity and immediate impact of this field. Today, I feel truly at home in this sector, and my career goals have shifted toward a world where communication is at the heart of innovation and transformation.

I want this article to be a true celebration of my journey and the progress I’ve made. While the adventure hasn’t been without its challenges, I prefer to focus on the positive aspects that have shaped my experience and creative career. Adapting to the agency’s vision, understanding its objectives, and incorporating them into my content proposals wasn’t always easy. However, each step pushed me to exceed my limits and uncover hidden talents, such as my creativity and ability to captivate an audience. This process also taught me that content dissemination is much more than just publishing—it’s about understanding the audience and knowing the right timing to engage them.
This experience has been a genuine springboard, allowing me to adapt to a new work format and become more active on social media. This adventure has completely transformed me as a person. I learned to integrate into a team where others were more skilled than me and to adapt to remote work.
If I could speak to the version of myself from a year ago, starting at CKLE, I would tell her to keep going, be persistent, and, above all, continue to reinvent herself and not be afraid to take risks.
